Ajay Devgn, who was last seen in Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar in the titular role, is among the busiest stars of Bollywood. Besides many interesting films, the actor is all set to entertain fans with his debut web series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness. Directed by Rajesh Mapuskar and produced by Applause Entertainment, Rudra is the official Hindi remake of Idris Elba's hit BBC series Luther. After a long wait, the Singham star has finally unveiled the much-awaited trailer of Rudra today (29 January).

As per the trailer, Devgn is playing the role of DCP Rudra Veer Singh in the series which also stars Esha Deol, Raashi Khanna, Ashwini Kalsekar, Ashish Vidyarthi, Atul Kulkarni, among others in pivotal roles. 

After Gangaajal and the Singham series, Devgn returns as a cop who is known for catching dreaded killers in the psychological crime drama. While on the personal front, his relationship with his wife (played by Esha Deol) is falling apart. The trailer shows Ajay investigating a series of murders and it looks gripping. Overall, the trailer is intriguing and seems like something worth waiting for.
