If we were to sum up Kartik Aaryan’s style statement in three words, it would be comfortable, casual and chic.

His sartorial choices are no less than runway looks from a streetwear fashion show but what we see in all of his looks is they are breezy, relaxed and more sporty than structured and tailored fits.

The same goes for his footwear picks. 

While his red carpet fixture is a good pair of black brogues or loafers, he often trusts his statement sneakers for basically every other event or public outing. It seems like he could even pair his tux or black tie outfit with edgy sneakers if he could, which he has.

He stepped out recently in one such casual and stylish outfit to a recording studio, probably for his film. He wore an oversized hooded sweatshirt and a beanie, considering the surprisingly chilly Mumbai weather of late, and paired them with ripped black denims. 

The Rs 30k sweatshirt from the brand Val. Kristopher has a cool, unsewn hemline detailing. However, it’s not as cool as his sneakers that are worth much more.

His funky sneakers are what grabbed all the attention. He is wearing the Maison Margiela Fusion sneakers in multicolour pattern in black, white and pink which complement his powder pink sweatshirt and completes the look well. 

The price of the sneakers would make your jaws drop, though.

The cool sneakers are worth 1250 Euros and are being sold at Rs 1.05 lakh in India. It features two different types of leather, hand-painted soles and a paint-splatter effect which gives it an edgy look. It also has a worn-out look and dirty finishing on purpose to give it a cool look all over.

Kartik picked the pair of chunky sneakers to style with his torn streetwear clothes which we think is a very meticulous and apt style for a casual day out. 

It is a bit expensive, okay pretty expensive, but for those who like to splurge on head-turning sneakers, this could be your pick.
