Samantha Ruth Prabhu has had a phenomenal acting journey so far. She stepped into the glamour industry as a model and it was because of her modelling, she was spotted by filmmaker Ravi Varman who cast her in Moscowin Kavery, which released in 2010. However, her debut movie is considered to be Gautham Vasudev Menon’s acclaimed Telugu film titled Ye Maaya Chesave, which released earlier in 2010. The Telugu romantic film had Naga Chaitanya play the lead role. 

It was said that they started dating during the shoot of this movie. Samantha is now a pan India star after she made her debut in Bollywood with Manoj Bajpayee’s The Family Man 2.  

She had also been in the news for her separation with her husband Naga Chaitanya. She shared a joint statement on social media which read, “To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers, and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thank you for your support.”

She was brutally trolled for putting an end to her relationship and even was blamed for probably cheating on him. Well, she wasn’t bogged down by all the hate that came her way but people on social media always find ways to troll her. Just recently, she came back from her vacation and was spotted stepping outside a salon in the Mumbai city. She was seen sporting a casual outfit and it was the caption of her t-shirt that got people talking. Also, as the t-shirt was rugged and ripped, people started trolling her.

There were people who appreciated her for the caption and how it's the best way to give it back to her haters who trolled her for divorce. Then, there were people who trolled her for wearing a ripped t-shirt. One of the users mentioned that she charged an insane fee for her item song in Pushpa but she still chose to wear a torn t-shirt.

As per a report by iwmbuzz, she charged Rs 5 crore for that 3-minute dance number. A source told the portal, “Oh, she has charged a bomb for the Oo Antava dance number. Believe me, she was very reluctant. The film’s leading man Allu Arjun personally took the effort to convince her.”

The source also added, “They had to pay her close to Rs 5 crore for that 3-minute dance number. She had some reservations about some of the dance movements. But gradually she got into the groove and didn’t demand that even one step be changed.” 

Now, this is an insane remuneration making her one of the top paid actresses of the South movie industry.
