'Gehraiyaan' Movie Review: Deepika Shines In Shakun's Film That Is Part Interesting, Part Meh


Being a huge fan of Kapoor & Sons (2016) and as someone who found Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012) quite interesting as a rom-com, I was eagerly looking forward to Shakun Batra’s third directorial stint in Gehraiyaan

He is one filmmaker who has proved time and again that there is no one in Bollywood who can handle relationship dramas as skillfully and with uniqueness & freshness as he can. 

Gehraiyaan too is a testament to that. The film is about a yoga instructor Alisha (Deepika Padukone), who is in a live-in relationship with her childhood friend Karan (Dhairya Karwa) and shares a broken relationship with her cousin Tia (Ananya Panday).
