You know how when Money Heist was released, all we could think of (apart from just how brilliant the show was) was who would be best suited to play the roles of those Spanish characters if it were to be remade here?

Some guessed Hrithik Roshan, others wondered if Aamir Khan would do justice to the role of the Professor. And while speculations kept being made, there was no sign of anyone donning the role anytime soon.

That was up until the sixth season of Naagin released and fans noticed a striking similarity between Manjit Joura’s role in the show and compared it to the iconic ‘Professor’ from Money Heist.

Calling it ‘the parallel nobody asked for’, people on the internet were amused by how effortlessly Manjit carried off the look of the Spanish character. One user even wrote, “Professor Money Heist chor kar Naagin Season-6 me kya karne aa gaya (What is the Professor doing here, leaving Money Heist)”. 

Meanwhile, people can’t stop raving about Tejasswi Prakash’s natural acting and talking about how a revenge-driven drama transformed into a show that started to give out superhero feels with its new plot.

The sixth season of the hit show Naagin, is based on how Pratha (played by Tejasswi Prakash) tries to protect the country from a deadly virus attack, making it all the more relatable to the people, especially after having spent two years battling covid.
