A Thursday, directed by Behzad Khambata, has finally been released.  

Featuring Yami Gautam, Neha Sharma, Karanvir Sharma, Dimple Kapadia, and Atul Kulkarni in pivotal roles, the thriller premiered on Disney+Hotsar today (17 February) and the audience reactions are out.

Jointly produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Premnath Rajagopalan under the banners RSVP Movies and Blue Monkey Films, A Thursday revolves around Yami's character Naina Jaiswal who is a pre-school teacher by profession and takes 16 of her students hostage.  

As shown in the trailer, she then makes three demands to Mumbai Police. In case, her demands aren't fulfilled, she warns to execute one kid every hour.

As per the MensXP review of A Thursday, Yami has delivered a top act yet again.. Well, social media users too think the same. 

Overall, the film has been getting a positive response from netizens. Especially, Yami's performance is getting a big thumbs up from Twitter users.

Talking about the film, a user tweeted, "I am still not able to get over #Athursday ! @yamigautam your range as an actor is indefinite and way above the rest. Sheer class! "Fir se bolu"! Goosebumps! Also The finale 20 mins are very high on emotion. Standing ovation". 

Another user, who didn't like the film, wrote, "#AThursday is basically a worse version of Dhamaka".

For the unversed, the film is a spiritual sequel to the 2008 cult hit A Wednesday as it follows a similar format.
