'Shittiest Franchise' Fans Slam SRH As Hyderabad 'Mistreats' Another AUS Star After Warner

Sunrisers Hyderabad lost another Australian star after the team's differences with David WarnerΒ saw the explosive opening batter make a dramatic exit from the franchise. Warner was sacked from captaincy midway through the tournament last year and was even left out of the playing XI.Β

Now, reports have emerged that their new assistant coach Simon Katich too has left the franchise as the team did not stick to their pre-auction tactics.Β

As per a report in The Australian, Katich decided to leave after a disagreement on how the team was being managed and he also felt that the franchise disregarded the pre-auction plans.

The Hyderabad-based franchise has had its differences with Australians as Brad Haddin and Trevor Bayliss also parted ways with SRH.Β

Fans were left disappointed with the franchise and called them out for their mistreatment of Australian stars.Β Β

One can figure out that Hyderabad's auction tactics went haywire at the IPL 2022 mega auction by looking at their biggest bid that came for Nicholas Pooran. Pooran is an exciting talent but his numbers in last year's IPL weren't that good that he got a Rs 10.75 crore deal.Β

SRH, after their fallout with Warner last year, finished at the bottom of the points table in IPL 2021. They had retained Kane Williamson and two uncapped Indians in Abdul Samad and Umran Malik.Β Β

Even at the recently concluded mega auction, SRH did not pick a single Australian player. Apart from Williamson, their overseas line-up consists of South Africa, West Indies, New Zealand and Afghanistan players.Β

The only Australian left in the camp is Tom Moody who will be coaching the side for the upcoming season.
