Badhaai Do ended up surprising everyone in terms of its box office success as well as audience reception, courtesy the clever writing and heartwarming storytelling. More and more people are thronging to the theatres, and applauding the stars as well as the makers. 

Amongst all of this, an incident happened in a Delhi theatre that has gone viral. While it started off with the unfortunate premise of a section of the crowd being homophobic, it ended in a way that is worthy enough to be in a movie scene.

A gay couple went to watch the movie, and a group of about 10 friends (guys and girls) who were sitting ahead of them, were constantly indulging in inappropriate commentary during the same-*** couple scenes. There was another man sitting in the front row, who was passing outright homophobic and perverted comments during Sumi and Rimjhim's scenes - such as 'Oye hoye maja aa gaya!' and 'Ek kiss ho jaaye!', unabashaedly.

While the gay couple in question was upset, they did not react as they didn't want to 'create a scene'. However, during Rajkummar's coming out monologue, one of them got emotional, was moved to tears, and started clapping and hooting. On this, the man from the front row said: 'Ye pakka gay hoga!'

That was it for them. One of them stood on his sit and yelled: 'Haan bro gay hu! Apne bande ke sath aya hu. 4 saal se relationship me hu. Dono ke ghar pe bhi pata hai. Bol, koi dikkat?'

Everyone heard them and the whole theatre fell silent. And after a few seconds, everyone unanimously burst into applause. The whole theatre was cheering and hooting for them.
