Akshay Kumar is on a spree releasing one film after another. He has around six movies slated for this year, one of which is Bachchhan Paandey. 

The trailer of the film was released two days ago and fans noticed a deja vu moment which they didn’t seem happy about.

In the trailer of the action-comedy flick, there is a funny scene where Kumar takes blessings from his Guruji (played by Pankaj Tripathi). 

The fans were quick to recall upon seeing it that they had laughed at the scene before.

It was a social media meme where a student was seen touching his teacher’s feet (way up in the wrong place, though) that cracked them up before this particular scene did.

Not only this, one of the posters of the film, introducing Jacqueline Fernandez as a second female lead and the girlfriend of Bachchhan Paanday’s character, Sophie, is also a popular meme.

Well, here’s the poster which clearly did not need many brain cells to be thought of.

Fans called out Akshay for blatantly copying the exact memes as a scene in the film and its poster, pointing out that he has not even spared the social media memes from remaking just like the films he does.

Kumar has recently worked in many films that are a remake of South Indian films including Laxmii, Holiday, Bhool Bhulaiya and more. 

Seeing the meme recreated in posters and trailers of his upcoming film got people facepalming and thinking, “iska bhi remake?”
