Meet The Ripped Dev Mohan - The Man Playing Dushyant Opposite Samantha In 'Shaakuntalam'

The first look of Samantha Ruth Prabhu's much awaited avatar as Shakuntala from the movie Shaakuntalam is finally out, to everyone's excitement. Samantha is looking like a goddess in the poster - demure, calm, and surrounded by animals and birds - just like the perfect depiction of Shakuntala.

While Samantha looks perfect as Shakuntala, fans have been anxious about the casting of Dushyant. Actor Dev Mohan, known for #Home and Sufiyum Sujatayum, is playing Dushyant in Shaakuntalam. While it's a huge task to do justice to this iconic role, that too opposite a powerhouse like Samantha, Dev Mohan fits the description of the prince, when it comes to his appearance.

Dev has been working on his physique to do justice to the role of prince Dushyant, and he has done it well. He hits the gym regularly, and has also been following a muscle-building diet that has helped him achieve his ripped physique. Take a look.

Dev mainly focuses on resistance and strength training in the gym, as that is a pre-requisite in terms of building a sculpted physique. That along with quantified nutrition are the pillars of body recomposition, something he clearly has been investing a lot of time and effort in.

Apart from fulfilling the fitness requirements for the role of Dushyant in Shaakuntalam opposite Samantha, Dev Mohan also has the classic 'prince' aesthetic, with his long hair and charming facial features.
