While the film's trailer and songs are getting a favourable response from moviegoers, Gangubai's son isn't happy with his mother's portrayal in Gangubai Kathiawadi. For the unversed, a chapter from Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai inspired Gangubai Kathiawadi.
