Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is among the most-loved actresses of South Indian cinema, is basking in the back-to-back success of The Family Man 2 and Pushpa song Oo Antava. A few days ago, after reaching Mumbai, the actress attended an award function and was papped looking stunning on the red carpet. However, she was brutally trolled for wearing a deep-neck green gown. 

Taking to Instagram, on Saturday, Samantha gave it back to the trolls by posting a powerful note talking about how women are easily judged. In the long post, she also asked people to stop judging women based on their hemlines and necklines. 

She wrote, "As a woman, I bear firsthand knowledge of what it means to be judged. We judge women based on what they wear, their race, education, social standing, appearance, skin tone and the list goes on and on. Making snap judgements about a person simply based on the clothes they wear is quite literally the easiest thing one can do. Now that we're in the year 2022- can we finally stop judging a woman based on the hemlines & necklines she adorns and focus instead on bettering ourselves?"

"Turning that judgement inward and training it on ones own self is evolution! Projecting our deals on someone else never did anyone any good... lets's gently rewrite the way we measure and understand a person," she concluded.

The Oh! Baby star is currently in Mumbai and is meeting her friends as well as colleagues. Recently, Samantha was snapped with Bollywood star Varun Dhawan and director Raj Nidimoru. Reportedly, she is reuniting with The Family Man 2 director-duo Raj & DK for the Hindi remake of Citadel. Varun Dhawan has been signed to play the male lead alongside Samantha in the Amazon Prime Video series. 

While the official announcement regarding Citadel is still awaited, the actress will next be seen in Shakuntalam. The makers recently released the first look poster which received a positive response from fans.
