So groovy were the tunes of his many songs that while many may not even know the true meaning behind, they still continue to sing them whenever it's playing in the background.

Now, while we don't get to witness a lot of new music by the legendary artist, we still get to hear about him every now and then.

Well, it looks like the popular Punjabi singer is in the news again and for a very big reason!

According to reports, Daler Mehndi recently became the first Indian to buy a property on Mark Zuckerberg's Metaverse.

For people not well versed with Metaverse, the historic move means that Daler has purchased what would be a virtual land on made-in-India Metaverse platform PartyNite.

Not just that, he's gone on to give it a very iconic name! Balle Balle Land!

According to reports, the 'Balle Balle Land' will soon even have a Daler Mehndi Store, which will go on to sell merchandise as NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).

If you're on the internet, you would already know the NFT craze that has really kicked off crazily!

Well, Daler is the latest and the first Indian to do so.

His Balle Balle Land was inaugurated on Holi and comes at the back of the singer joining the likes of international artists like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Marshmallow, and Travis Scott in performing on the Metaverse.

The Instagram handle of Mendi now reads “First Metaverse Man, Owner of Balle Balle Land | Creator of Tunak Tunak & Tara Ra Ra | Singer | Composer|”.

Just a few days ago, the singer even announced that all his future events and music concerts will now happen on 'Balle Balle Land'.

Well, soon after the news broke out of Balle Balle Land, his fans rushed to congratulate him on social media platforms with Bollywood star Sunil Shetty being one of the many wishing him.

It's proud moment, congratulations.
