Virat Kohli took a splendid catch during Royal Challengers Bangalore's four-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede stadium on Tuesday (April 5). However, the former RCB skipper failed with the bat after being run out for five by the brilliance of Sanju Samson and Yuzvendra Chahal.

While he did not entertain much with the bat in hand, Kohli sure brought smiles to the faces of RCB fans and cricket fans in general just as his team was inching closer to their second consecutive win in the 15th edition of the IPL.

In the 15th over, when Dinesh Karthik smashed a boundary off Navdeep Saini. The cameras panned towards the RCB dressing room and captured Kohli overjoyed with the performance of his team. 

Kohli was also seen giving a friendly back massage to the newly-married Glenn Maxwell, who had completed his mandatory quarantine and recently joined the rest of the team.

At one stage, RCB looked down and out in the contest but Dinesh Karthik and Shahbaz Ahmed had other plans. The Bangalore-based franchise was reeling at 87 for five, chasing 170 for the win. 

Karthik and Shahbaz put on a 67-run stand for the sixth wicket to bring RCB back in the contest and they eventually got over the line with five balls to spare.

For his cool and composed knock under pressure, Karthik was adjudged player of the match and after receiving the award, the wicket-keeper batter reminded the world (and himself) that he is not finished yet.

"I think I made a conscious effort this year to do justice to myself because the last year, I felt I could have done better. The way I trained was much better this time around. Credit to the person who trained with me. I'm making a conscious effort to tell myself that I'm not done yet," he said at the post-match presentation.

With four points in the bank, RCB will be boosted by the arrival of Maxwell for their next game and they would be hoping that Kohli too finds form because if the former skipper starts clicking for them, then good luck to other teams stopping this scary-looking batting line-up.
