Watch Out Cricketers. This Indian Security Guard Is Here To Take Your Job

2016 has already seen some spectacular catches in the world of cricket. While players like AB de Villiers and Steve Smith have set the bar much higher for the other players, a recent catch in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) goes on to prove that the individuals behind the ropes are ready to give the professionals a run for their money.

The catch in contention today is unlike anything you've ever seen. The ball was neither caught in the stands, nor was it plucked by a ball boy. Rather, in a rare instance, an Indian security guard appears to have claimed the honours.

During the BBL clash between Adelaide Strikers and Brisbane Heat on Thursday, the spectators witnessed something special on the field after a security guard, Vikas Chhikara, took a classic catch behind the ropes.

The incident occurred in the 18th over when Australian batsman Joe Burns smacked Kane Richardson for a six over the short square boundary. As the ball went over the ropes, a security guard effortlessly took the catch while sitting in his chair.

His relaxed approach and casual throw back on the field got the crowd on their feet as he waved towards them to acknowledge his effort.

It seems like the man in the red jacket has finally out security guards on the map of the best fielders in modern-day cricket.
