The whole nation woke up to a shock yesterday as the news about Om Puri’s sudden demise broke. One of the most celebrated actors of Bollywood, Om Puri passed away at the age of 66 after suffering a heart attack.

His death left a void in the hearts of people all over the country. Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter to mourn his death and shared fond memories of the legendary actor. Salman Khan, who worked with him in his latest unreleased film ‘Tubelight’ expressed his shock and grief on Twitter by posting this picture from the sets of the film.

He also shared a snippet from one of Om Puri’s interviews that has him re-enacting his iconic dialogue from ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron’ - "Draupadi teri akele ki nahi hai ... hum sab shareholder hai".

‘Tubelight’ director Kabir Khan also wrote a heartbreaking message on Twitter and it reminded us all what a loss Om Puri’s death really means.

‘Tubelight’ would be the last film the legendary Om Puri will be seen in and that makes it even more special.
