In 2007, Imtiaz Ali gave us a movie that managed to hit home with every single person, irrespective of their differences. We found a bit of Geet and Aditya in each one of us. Well, that's the charm of Imtiaz's films. He brings on-screen what other directors just can't at time…magic.  

Not only do we live his stories but he makes the plot so relatable that you can't get over it. Such was the story of 'Jab We Met' and the memories of the film are still like a breath of fresh air.

And after a decade Shahid Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali are all set to recreate that magic once again and we are can't wait to see their final product.

The two have collaborated on a new project and fans obviously are exhilarated with the news. The project goes on the floor as soon as Shahid wraps up Shree Narayan Singh's 'Batti Gull Meter Chalu'. Earlier there were speculations about the news and, finally, Shahid confirmed the same.

The 'Rangoon' actor is excited to work with Imtiaz, who he feels is a phenomenal director. The two worked together when they were kick-starting their careers and their coming back together looks like a perfect choice.

Not much is known about the film, but it is very different from what they both have done in the past. Imtiaz's 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma turned out to be a disaster and this news brings in new hope for his fans.

Currently, Shahid is looking forward to the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati', whose release has been delayed due to controversies. It would be interesting to see who is cast opposite the actor in Imtiaz's next.
