We are living in one of the best times possible and the credit partly goes to the ever growing technology, which is developing at a speed faster than that of Usain Bolt. It is because of technology that things which appeared unimaginable decades earlier are now a child's play for most of us. One such technology is the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle aka drones.

Apart from its conventional use in the military and for delivery purpose, people have managed to find quirky and unusual ways to use drones, like racing, pizza delivery, storm chasing, playing pranks, for surveillance and more. However, of all these, one of the most beautiful and possibly the perfect usage of drones is for aerial photography and these pictures are proof.

Dronestagram is a Paris based photo sharing community that brings together photographers from all corners of the world, who are passionate about drone photography.  Like every year, this time too they organized their annual International Drone Photography Contest for 2017 and after receiving thousands of entries, the top 20 have been shortlisted.
