This May Very Well Be Our First Look At The Upcoming OnePlus 6 And It Even Has A Notch

A new sketchy leak has emerged on the interwebs, first spotted by IThome, that shows us our first look of the upcoming OnePlus 6. A photo was shared on Chinese social media website Weibo which has since been deleted. The image depicted what the upcoming OnePlus 6 is going to look like.

Ever since the iPhone X launched, more and more Chinese OEMs have been copying the design and it seems like OnePlus is not going to be left behind. If this picture is legit, OnePlus will have a few design changes for their flagship killer in 2018. OnePlus, like everyone else will look to adopt a screen that has fewer bezels and the inclusion of the notch will give the smartphone even more real estate to work with.

OnePlus 5/5T took inspiration from the iPhone 7 Plus' design and implemented a horizontal dual camera setup. If this image is to be believed, OnePlus has rearranged the dual camera setup and the fingerprint sensor to look more like the Galaxy S9+.

Other reports have suggested that the OnePlus 6 will come with top of the line specifications such as 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and Android Oreo out of the box. OnePlus is also expected to incorporate Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 845 SoC. No other information about the smartphone has been made public and we expect to find more information closer to the launch date.

Of course, since the publisher of the image is now unknown, this leak could be a fake or one of the prototypes OnePlus is currently working on. It is very well known that OnePlus 5 went through several design changes before the final product was launched in 2017. We expect the new device to launch in the coming months, so until then, keep an eye on our technology section for more OnePlus news.
