The day that everyone has been waiting for with bated breath is finally here. It's May 8th and today is the day Sonam Kapoor is getting married to beau Anand Ahuja. While there has been tumultuous excitement about the event, it was given a tough competition by the preceding events - the Mehendi and the Sangeet. While the Mehendi saw Bollywood biggies in their fashionable best, the Sangeet was like a runway clad in white, thanks to the white theme. Everyone has been waiting for the spectacle that the final day is going to be, and the first look is finally here, putting all the conjectures to rest.

Groom Anand Ahuja is looking resplendent in a beige-gold sherwani by Raghavendra Rathore, accompanied by a safa of the same hue. While he had opted the minimalist route for the previous event, today was different. His neck is decked with a string of heritage jewellery - pearl strings and a heavy neckpiece made up of garnets. Today is the big day, after all!

The father of the bride has clearly decided to give tough competition to the groom. And why not? He is the only man in Bollywood who is ageing in reverse (really, look at him), and today is the most special day for his beautiful daughter. It really isn't a surprise that Mr Anil Kapoor, today, should look straight out of a fashion magazine. He is wearing a white achkan with a string of royal emeralds around his neck.

Arjun Kapoor, clad in a sharp blue kurta pyjama, replete with a blue Nehru jacket, has clearly decided to join his uncle in the fashion war that is ensuing.
