In today’s bizarre news, a woman in Austin, Texas, won a shining new car just by kissing the car for 50 odd hours as part of the ‘Kiss a KIA’ contest. Organised by Austin radio station 96.7 KISS FM, the contest laid down one simple rule – whoever’s lips would be glued to the car till the end would win it. There were around 50 participants but 30-year old Dilini Jayasuriya stuck till the end. She was awarded a brand new 2017 KIA Optima LX  for her patience.

As easy as it sounds, it wasn’t at all. Sticking your tongue to a car for 50 hours is no cakewalk and people got blisters and 

aching bodies from the ordeal. The contest was live streamed for the first 5 hours too. 

The contestants can be seen bending over the cars, their lips stuck to the cold steel. We can only imagine how torturous it must be to have your lips glued to one place. While we can’t stay hungry for more than 2 hours, we wonder how Dilini fought the urge for two days!
