Shahid Afridi andamp Virat Kohlis Twitter Exchange Proves That Cricket Really Is A Gentlemans Game

India and Pakistan’s cricket teams are always completing against each other, but they keep the rivalry for the field only. When Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi announced his retirement, the whole Indian squad signed the national jersey of their captain Virat Kohli and gifted it to Afridi. The shirt carried a message in Kohli's handwriting which said, "To Shahid Bhai, best wishes, always a pleasure playing against you."

The incredible and heartfelt gesture was very well received by fans in India and Pakistan, even Shahid Afridi himself loved the gift and took to Twitter to post a ‘Thank You’ note.

Thank you to you and the entire Indian team for a wonderful farewell gift @imVkohli. Respect superstar, hope to see you soon ? pic.twitter.com/DGz8aMs1Xv
