Akshay kickstarted his birthday celebrations with a small dinner party at a restaurant with his wife Twinkle Khanna and some close friends. Akshay and Twinkle were joined by Bobby Deol, his wife Tanya Deol and two other friends. Akshay and Bobby have done several movies together like 'Ajnabee', 'Thank You' and 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo' and will soon be seen in 'Housefull 4'.
