The entire craze of rehashing old songs to suit the millennial palate is getting a little out of hands now I guess. Not all copies and remakes are great and some just end up being the opposite of what one might call an 'eargasm' and also ruins all your memories attached to the original. The latest victim that made it to the 'nay' in the remake list is the iconic song 'Poster Lagwa Do' from the upcoming romcom called 'Luka Chuppi' which stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon. Now before we dissect the song, let's just first listen to it.

The song has been sung (or shall I say ruined) by Mika and Sunanda Sharma, two very well known names in the Punjabi industry. I absolutely love Sunanda's voice and her previous outings which includes these two fab numbers:

 

Now I don't know why she suddenly sounds like Dhinchak Pooja in this new song and we thought all remakes were supposed to be done by Neha Kakkar, a voice we miss in this song. Netizens are also not happy with this number at all.

Not kidding, you actually have to listen to the original track to forget this new rendition. The original song was in 'Aflatoon' which starred Akshay Kumar and Urmila Matondkar in the lead.

Kriti and Kartik are currently busy promoting their movie which actually looks really great to be honest and even took a little help from Akshay Kumar himself.
