Sonu Nigam Develops An Allergy From Seafood And Now He Can't Even See Food

"I will take just one bite. After all, how bad can allergies be?" The answer is VERY BAD and sometimes life-threatening and bad enough to land you in the ICU of a hospital. 'Bole Chudiyan' singer Sonu Nigam learnt this the hard way, after he was rushed to the hospital.

Sonu Nigam developed skin allergy and got a swollen eye after he ate seafood.

The singer was reportedly admitted in the ICU of the Nanavati Hospital, for two days and was discharged later. Nigam shared the news with his friends and fans on social media and updated them that he is doing fine now.

He even thanked his fans for their love and concern. He wrote, "Thanks for your concern and love. Now that you know that I am returning back from Jeypore Orissa after managing a concert last night, I now don't mind sharing how I was the day before yesterday."  He further said, "Lesson for all of us, Never ever ever ever take a chance with allergies. Sea food in my case. If Nanavati Hospital wasn't near by, my trachea would have swollen up further and lead to asphyxiation. Happy and Healthy life to everyone."

Sonu Nigam mentioned that the allergy was so bad that had the hospital not been nearby, his trachea would have swollen up further and led to asphyxiation.

This indeed is a lesson for all of us who take allergies lightly.
