A Peek Into The Extremely Lavish Life Of The World's Richest Athlete, Floyd Mayweather

When your middle name is 'Money' you have got to be rich enough to let that name stick around in public and for Floyd Mayweather, that's not a problem.

According to the Forbes list of the World's richest athletes of 2018, Mayweather earned $275 million from his 10-round bout with the notorious MMA fighter, Conor McGregor, alone in 2017. He also earned $10 million from endorsements during the financial year.

A total of $285 million earned by the boxer ranked him number 1 on the list followed by Lionel Messi ($111 million), Cristiano Ronaldo ($108 million), Conor McGregor ($99 million) and Neymar Jr. ($90 million) in that order.

In a recent interview with comedian Kevin Hart, Mayweather talked about how some people are spending a lifetime trying to earn as much as he earned in just 30 minutes during his fight against McGregor.

“Kevin, let me be honest… My life is great. Smart investments. I can buy whatever I want to buy, every month,” said the 50-0 fighter.

Let's take a quick look inside 'Money' Mayweather's ultra-lavish life:

Mansions:

Proud of his 'smart' investments, especially in real estate, Floyd recently bought a couple of mansions in two of the most happening cities of the United States.

In October, Mayweather purchased a $10 million mansion at 9504 Kings Gate Court in Las Vegas which expands over 16,350-square-feet of premium Vegas estate. It has a pool house, an underground garage, two above-ground garages, a gym (of course) and a small vineyard along with a couple of guest houses within the borders of the establishment.

The Vegas purchase came just a year after the boxer bought a massive $25 million Los Angeles manor, consisting of a candy shop, a 12-seat ultra-luxurious in-house theatre with a wall-sized wine rack with a 225-bottle capacity.

Rides:

It is said that even Mayweather has no clue how many cars are currently parked in his garage. He once told ESPN that he had cars worth $15 million just sitting there at his Las Vegas home, that he doesn't even drive.

Always the one to pay in cash for every ride that he owns, Floyd has bought “over 100 cars” from a single dealership, let alone all the other places he's bought his rest of the rides from.

Among the top supercars the fighter owns, the top 10 cars he is typically fond of, are:

Jet:

On his birthday last year, the champ treated himself with a brand new jet! Although being one who's never too shy of boasting his fortune, Mayweather hasn't revealed the exact price of his newest toy, however, according to Business Insider, the Gulfstream G650 could have set 'Money' Mayweather back by $60 million!

Mayweather likes to keep his style fresh and expensive. In one of his latest buys, the man bought himself an $18 million watch, made of 18k white gold with 280-carat diamonds studded all over. The watch is now known as 'The Billionaire'.
