Indian Fans Urge Virat Kohli & Co To Boycott Pakistan In The ICC World Cup Matches

14th February 2019 marked one of the darkest days in India's rich history. A cowardly terror strike in the Pulwama district of Awantipora robbed India of more than 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel on the spot, while injuring several others. The tragic incident has since become the topic of great discussion, further fuelling backlash for Pakistan over their alleged role in the deadly strike.

In protest against the Pulwama attack, the Indian government withdrew the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status awarded to Pakistan. Upon withdrawal, basic customs duty on all goods exported from Pakistan to India has been raised to 200 per cent with immediate effect. More recently, IMG Reliance, too, pulled out of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as their main broadcaster, as a mark of respect for the CRPF martyrs.

The Cricket Club of India (CCI) also removed the portrait of Pakistan PM Imran Khan from their restaurant wall. While the world was condemning the horrendous act, the Pakistan PM didn't even bother to comment on it which led to the CCI's move. "We condemn the terror activities carried out against our army and CRPF personnel. Though CCI is a sporting association but nation comes first even before sports," CCI Secretary Suresh Bafna had told ANI, while also suggesting to skip the Pakistan clash in the ICC World Cup in June.

Amid growing calls for revenge, Indian cricket fans, too, have asked skipper Virat Kohli and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to boycott Pakistan at the World Cup in England and Wales.

Expel the country Pakistan from every global arena, at first, expel them from ICC World cup 2019. It's mandatory. Separate them is every stage.ð ð¡ Jai Hind. #ICC we don't want to see Ind vs Pak match WC #ExposeDeshDrohis  #PulwamaTerrorAttacks #ICC #BCCI pic.twitter.com/udBFAbUvpc

Either India will be part of World Cup 2019 or Pakistan.

You have enough funds to pull this off

Will you do it @msdhoni @imVkohli
