Hereandamprsquos How You Can Get Your Hands On This One-Of-A-Kind Transparent Samsung Galaxy S8

DIYs are fun and all but messing with something like a smartphone is really risky. But, it seems like Jerry, from the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything, is completely fearless. He recently uploaded a video where he transforms his Samsung Galaxy S8 to give it a transparent back. Well, at least he knows what he’s doing. Look how cool the phone is now!

He takes out the glass back panel and literally scrapes off the paint off of it. While this would have been enough and it looked incredible as it is, Jerry decided to take it even further.

The NFC chip for wireless charging was blocking the view of the more mechanical stuff inside, so he decided to get rid of that. He takes out 14 screws, and the process looks way too risky now, but he manages to secure the back again with the help of some double-sided tape.

The only catch – he won’t be able to charge his phone wirelessly now, and it won’t be waterproof anymore, losing one of its main features. But, with such a cool and interesting look, it probably doesn’t even matter. As Jerry said, it does look like a transparent Gameboy, though.

Would you ever attempt to do this to your phone? Or Samsung should just come out with a transparent phone? What do you guys think?
