The Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus are two solid smartphones that have incredible displays. Samsung's new flagship sports its 'Infinity-O' display and it has finally been tested by the experts at DisplayMate. 

The Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus have 6.1 and 6.4-inch AMOLED screens respectively and support HDR10+ content for users who like to consume videos.

OLED displays have come a long way in terms of advancement and are now the staple display choice for premium flagship phones. Initially, it had a weird start due to technical issues such as pixel layout problems and colour representation, however, Samsung has perfected the technology to make it the number AMOLED manufacturer in the world. Hence, it's natural that Samsung would use their best display on its latest device. 

Galaxy S10/S10 Plus has earned the highest grade from DisplayMate i.e. an A+. The experts go on to say that the Galaxy S10's display "matches or sets over a dozen new smartphone display performance records", including a "high brightness mode that is up to 17% brighter (1,215 nits) than the Galaxy S9.”

DisplayMate's reviewer Dr Raymond M. Soneira called Samsung's OLED "the most colour accurate display we have ever measured”. He goes on to explain that the device was able to produce lifelike colours. The smartphone performed well even in the colour accuracy department as he describes it as "visually indistinguishable from perfect, and almost certainly considerably better than your existing smartphone, living room HDTV, tablet, laptop, and computer monitor.”

DisplayMate also details that the Galaxy S10 has also improved upon other salient features such as better viewing angles, display power efficiency and blue light spectrum.
