Gul Panag is one of the lesser appreciated, yet seriously cool women we have in this country, I mean, screw Bollywood and its standards of damsels forever in distress. Whoever needs those when you have a seriously badass real-life woman who could literally rev up and kick some dust in the faces of every prejudice and misconception? Let’s start with the one that says girls can’t drive. 

Gul Panag will take that misconception and smash it up for you. The woman has become the first Indian woman to ever drive a Formula E racing car in Barcelona, Spain. According to agency reports, Gul is said to have driven the M4Electro at the Circuit de Calafat, which is a Mahindra fourth generation Formula E race car, in Catalonia, Spain. 

She even shared an Instagram post on the same.

Before getting behind the wheel, Gul made sure she got the appropriate training that was required of her to drive a racing car under extreme conditions with the experience and level of fitness that makes it easy to maneuver such vehicles.
