PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, as we all know, is a fairly demanding title. Hence, Bluehole Corporation launched a Lite version of the game earlier this year to make it more accessible. It was available in Beta for selected markets around the globe, but now, it looks like the title could soon be made available in more markets via Steam.
In the latest March Dev Letter, the developers noted that the title is being added to Steam soon. The letter says, “PUBG LITE is aiming for PUBG STEAM version.” So, not only will the game be made available in more markets, but it'll be made available through Steam, which is always a good thing as it's more convenient.

Since the title is essentially a 'Lite' version of the original game, you'll be able to play it even on a moderately powerful PC. Here's a quick look at the minimum requirements:
· OS: Window 7, 8, 10
· CPU: Core-i3 clocked at 2.4GHz
· RAM: 4GB
· GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000
· HDD: 4GB
As of now, there's no official word on the game's availability on Steam, but you can expect to learn more about it in the next dev letter or maybe even sooner than that.
Additionally, the March dev letter also talks about some other changes in the game like new weapons, dynamic gunplay and more. You can read all about it here.
