The 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been off to a fiery start. With every match providing ample entertainment, we are witnessing some of the best performances from a bunch of players. 

Super Sunday's first match between Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was yet another high-flying yet one-sided affair.

Johnny Bairstow joined the elite list of players to score a century in the league. Building a partnership of 185 alongside David Warner for the first wicket, Bairstow showed his batting prowess by scoring 114 off just 56 deliveries, striking 12 fours and seven sixes.

Later, the centurion was joined by Warner, who himself went on to score an unbeaten hundred off mere 55 balls. Both the batsmen took the score to an epic 231 in their share of 20 overs.

Building on the magnificent performance of their batsmen, SRH excelled in the bowling department also by restricting the reds to a mere 113 and eventually winning the match by 118 runs. In the process, they registered their biggest ever IPL win.

Bairstow later managed to bag the Man of the Match award for his thunderous century and a crucial stumping of Shimron Hetmyer as well.
