Voting is a fundamental right that every citizen deserves and should exercise as well. Believe it or not, but the entire nation's fate depends on the tiny mark of blue ink on your finger. Even our political leaders understand this, which is why they are busy with election campaigns and urging people to vote.

PM Modi is also busy with the election campaign and almost a month ago, he had urged people (actors, cricketers and many prominent sports personalities) from all walks of life, to encourage their fans and followers to vote. In one of those tweets, PM Modi asked Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar to "creatively ensure high voter awareness and participation in the coming elections."

Now, actor Shah Rukh Khan has responded to PM Modi's message and came up with a rap song, 'Karo Matdan', requesting people to go and vote in the ongoing Lok Sabha 2019 elections.

The song is not only peppy, but also brings to surface a talent in SRK that we weren't aware of - rapping. He wrote, "PM sahib @narendramodi ne creativity ki liye bola tha. Main thoda late ho gaya video banane mein...aap mat hona Vote karne mein!!! 'Voting is not only our Right, it is our Power.'  Please Use It. Thank u to @tanishkbagchi @abbyviral @parakramsinghr."

PM Modi too replied to the song and called it a "fantastic effort." He wrote, "I am sure the people of India, especially first time voters will pay heed to your appeal and come out to vote in large numbers."

Honestly, after listening to this song, we can't wait for a rap face-off between SRK and the OG 'Gully Boy' Ranveer Singh.
