'Game Of Thrones' Episode 5 Promo Teased A Hopeful Twist & We Can't Wait For Next Monday
It looks like 'Game Of Thrones' is saving the major deaths for episode 5 in the last running season of the show. In the past 8 seasons, only the wittiest or the luckiest have been able to survive the gruesome bloodshed, that started following the death of Ned Stark in Season 1.
The Battle Of Winterfell, in the fourth episode of Season 8, promised a brutal fight that, however, did not result in as many deaths as were expected. The following episode, 'The Last of the Starks' also came with a set of shocking deaths, namely Missandei and the mighty dragon Rhaegal. The latter denting the Dragon Queen's army considerably. After the battle with the Undead against the Night King, Dany's forces are not just depleted in number now but are also deprived of the stamina to fight another major war.

All of this leads to Varys discussing with Tyrion as to how the numbers of Cersei's army are now distressingly even with that of Dany's.
However, with the possible death of Rheagal, one of Dany's surviving two dragons, does it change things?
The preview of Episode of Season 8 hints towards a possible surprise. The episode is obviously going to be a showdown between Dany and Cersei and the battle for the (ugly looking) Iron Throne that symbolizes the power of the Seven Kingdoms. But if you look at the preview closely, you might notice that everyone's looking into the void at something that surprises them. Here, take a look:
Do you see it? And, if you replay the audio a couple of times, you'll notice that there are two distinct screeching dragon sounds in the background. Yep, clearly, this means they see something they did not expect at all.
Also, when Cersei asks Euron if he's “certain” about Rhaegal's death, he tells her that he saw him sink beneath the waves. Which means no one actually checked to see if there was actually a body. Could it be that Rhaegal is not really dead?
