CWC 2019 IND vs PAK: Rohit Sharma Scores His Second Century Of The World Cup, 24th Overall

Indian opener Rohit Sharma has now scored at least 50 runs in every match he has played in during the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019. In the match against Sarfaraz Ahmed's Team Pakistan, Sharma did it in only 34 deliveries while giving the Men in Blue the ideal start to one of the most important games marked on their calendar.

During this feat, Sharma surpassed former Indian skipper and wicket keeping legend, Mahendra Singh Dhoni's record for smashing the most number of sixes in international cricket. While Dhoni has smashed the ball for a total of 355 maximums combining all formats of international cricket, Sharma's first six of the match against Pakistan got him to surpass this achievement of Dhoni's.

After forming a brilliant 100-plus run partnership with KL Rahul, the 'Hitman' was able to score his second ton of the ICC World Cup 2019 in less than 90 balls, making this his fastest century among the 24 he has scored in ODIs till date.

WHAT AN INNINGS!
