Recently, President Ram Nath Kovind, in a kind gesture, paid attention to a policewoman who fell and had apparently twisted her ankle during an award function in the Capital. 

According to the PTI report, the cop was standing in front of the dais at Vigyan Bhawan during the first National CSR Awards function in the city, when she collapsed while the national anthem was playing. 

Subsequently after the anthem was over, President Kovind walked down from the dais along with Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman, and Union Minister Anurag Thakur to attend to the cop.

Besides, President  Kovind also offered the policewoman a bottle of water while having a brief conversation with her. 

Usually, the president leaves the venue soon after the national anthem gets over but this noble gesture of his was loved by the audience, who lauded him with applause as he walked out from the venue, stated the news report. 

VIP culture still exists in India and despite that, such kind gesture, which was both surprising and heartwarming, is totally worth appreciating.
