Even though Iron Fist was a disappointment in terms of quality, one can’t deny that Netflix has definitely produced some of the best superheroes for TV. We got the brutal action and melodrama of Daredevil, The cool hip-hop/R’n’B flavour of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones (which I personally didn’t like). The first two were excellent while Jones was just plain bad, even worse than Iron Fist. The story was ridiculous and it looked like the show was trying too hard to be edgy.

But, in the new Defenders trailer, it looks like the coming together of this bunch of misfits from Hell’s Kitchen, New York and their trials and tribulations as a full-fledged team.  There are punches thrown, kicks unleashed and a new villain in the form on Sigourney Weaver. We still don’t know who she’s playing but by the looks of it, The Defenders have their work cut out for them.
