The Realme 5 Series turned out to be a huge success in India. The company ended up selling a ton of Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro devices, and now, they're bringing a new phone in the series today.

Called the Realme 5i, it's replacing the Realme 5 and it's more like an upgrade to it. The highlight of the phone is the quad-camera setup and the 5,000 mAh battery. Let's check it out -

The Realme 5i, as you can see, has a different design at the back. It doesn't have the crystal design anymore and instead, has a textured back. The Realme 5i sports a 6.52-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1600. It also has a waterdrop notch on the front that houses an 8MP selfie camera. It's powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC, just like the Realme 5.

It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is a standard thing for budget phones. In terms of the optics, the Realme 5i sports a quad-camera setup which includes a 12MP primary sensor, an 8MP sensor with a wide-angle lens, a 2MP portrait lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There's a 5,000 mAh battery inside that's keeping the light on and it's running on ColorOS software based on Android.

Realme has launched the new Realme 5i at Rs 8,999 in India. The phone will be available in two colour variants i.e. Green and Blue and it'll be available exclusively through Flipkart starting January 15, 2020.
