They say cleanliness is next to godliness, and a little boy from Chinaâs Shandong Province has proven it to the world. 

Merely a year old, Sun Jiarui was out for a walk with his mother in the city of Jining when he saw someone throwing a bottle on the road from their car. 

Not only did little Sun pick it up, but he also handed it back to the driver through the carâs window. The video of the incident was caught on camera by the toddlerâs mother who often records her son's escapades during their daily walk session. The video has since gone viral on social media.

However, Sunâs mom has said that there is a high chance her son mistook the discarded bottle to have fallen out by mistake and decided to give it back to the owner. But regardless of what made little Sun take the step that he took, people cannot stop lauding the kidâs actions.

Talking to Daily Mail Sunâs mother Jing Lulu said, âThat day, he probably thought the bottle had fallen from the car by accident. He is a very simple child. If he sees other people drop stuff, he always helps to pick up. He is only one year and three months old and probably doesn't have a strong sense of environmental protection, but his action taught the driver a lesson.â

We totally agree. That sure is a lesson for all of us.
