Woman Seeks Divorce As Husband Didn't Bathe Daily But Guys Be Like 'Aaj Thand Hai, Kal Nahaunga'

"Wife was demanding too much ***", "my wife has got pimples", "I was asked to touch my husband's feet on Karwa Chauth", "my wife didn't cook like my mother" - are you wondering what are these and why I am talking about them? Well, these are some of the reasons desi people gave to get a divorce from their respective spouses.

Last year, a woman in MP filed for divorce when her husband refused to shave or bathe for 8 days in a row. While you might think it's outright bizarre, looks like it's clearly not because another woman is now seeking divorce from her husband because he stinks.

According to a report in The Times Of India, a 20-year-old woman from Bihar's Vaishali has filed for divorce because her 23-year-old husband doesn't shave or bathe regularly (for nearly 10 days at a stretch to be precise) and stinks. She also complained to the State Women's Commission (SWC) that he does not even brush his teeth regularly and has limited sense of manners and etiquette.

"We have no children. Even our relationship as a husband and wife is not cordial. Life has no meaning. It's worthless," the woman said in her complaint against her husband who is a plumber by profession.

One of the SWC members, who earlier thought the reason to be silly, said, "I have given her husband two months' time to mend his ways. If his behaviour is not found satisfactory even after that, we will take appropriate action and refer the matter to the family court for separation."

SWC heard the woman's complaint and asked her husband to mend his ways within two months, else a strict action will be taken against him.

Wow, women take grooming and personal hygiene quite seriously. So, all you men out there better watch out before giving excuses like, "Aaj thand bahut hai, kal nahaunga."
