With every new year that comes and goes, there is one thing that never seems to change. No, we donât mean the government, you fool. Itâs our shared love and subconscious dependency on all things Bollywood.

It has become a recurrent event, one where we not only look forward to, but also think of making plans around movie releases which seem to hold potential. And that does not necessarily depend on just the plot or trailer, but a lot of it stems from the level of attraction and sense of loyalty we feel towards certain Bollywood stars who come to make all the difference.

2020 is going to be no different because a number of really exciting movies by leading Bollywood A-listers are lined up throughout the year which hold the promise to be totally paisa-wasool.

Here are eight such movies weâre rooting for.

1. '83

The third installment of Rohit Shettyâs mega successful cop universe, Sooryavanshi will see Akshay Kumar playing the lead opposite Katrina Kaif, and thatâs a promising pairing right there. After Bajirao Singham and Sangram Simmba Bhalerao, we sure have high hopes from DCP Veer Sooryavanshi. 

3. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan

Another multi-starrer that is set to greet our screens in 2020, the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer fantasy-adventure drama will be the first installment of the trilogy. Brahmastra also stars biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy among others in pivotal roles.

5. Angrezi Medium

When Aamir Khan announced that he is all set to star in the Bollywood remake of the Hollywood classic movie Forrest Gump, we didnât know if we were ready to welcome Laal Singh Chaddha. However, given Aamirâs past record (barring Thugs Of Hindostan, of course) people are pinning a lot of hopes on this remake.

7. Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai

Akshay Kumar starrer Laxmmi Bomb is going to be yet another remake of a successful south Indian film titled Kanchana. Kiara Advani will be playing the female lead, and given the stellar posters of the film, people are really expecting an explosive performance from Akshay.
