As stylish as he is, Shikhar Dhawan isnât exactly a fashion icon. Or so we thought, until he walked the ramp for Delhi based designer Samant Chauhan. And boy, are we glad that we got to see Shikhar walk the ramp, especially given how elegant and classy his outfit was.

Before we get into what Shikhar was wearing, we have to show some of the really dapper ways to ace a black outfit, that we saw on Samantâs show.

First, thereâs this black and grey co-ord kurta shirt set. Paired with slip-ons and a glossy leather jacket, thatâs one heck of a way to amp up your street style.

Then, there was this asymmetrical suit, which when combined with the rather longish shirt, does look well on a guy with a lean and tall built. Plus, the large checked print on the jacket gives the ensemble even more character.

One of our favourites from the bunch, was this long shirt with a zany print, which was paired with a technical looking, shacket. The deconstructed plackets and the marked collars further added to the charm of the upper half of the outfit. For the lower half, we have a rather zany combination of a skirt and a pant, which is something that we can totally see Ranveer going for something like this.

Then there was this street-wear-meets-athleisure ensemble that caught our eye. We really love the manner in which the uneven collar sticks out of the pullover jacket. Also, the bulky and technical aesthetics of the jacket and the pants give it a very quirky character.

Finally, there was our very own jatt ji. He was dressed in an ensemble that can only be described as the best West-Meets-Desi aesthetic that we can actually think of seeing off the ramp and on the rack.

Shikar is seen here wearing a fitting technical kurta with a textured black coat. The belt high from the waist is actually a nice touch. The pants, as simple as they may be, actually complement the kurta and the coat really well.

The choice of the shoes, though, could have been a little different. Yes, they do work with the outfit, but we figure a pair of black monk straps, or brogues would work wonders. With that being said, we do like how the ensemble sits just perfectly well with Shikhar.

A perfect wedding outfit, if you ask us.
