Before I go any further, let me give you a quick premise of where Iâm coming from. Has it ever happened to you that you went up to your fridge, opened it, stared inside for a couple of seconds before realising you donât even know why youâre there? If your response to that was a yes, you now know the exact reason (or rather reaction) that has prompted me to pen this down.

We have often witnessed Kangana go all out in her patriotic fervour. Which is totally fine. Patriotism is something we all advocate, right? Only, she usually doesnât stop there. She will go ahead and give a verbal bashing to anyone and everyone who holds an opposing view.
Like for instance, all those times Kangana publicly voiced her anti-Pakistan sentiments, even calling for âPakistanâs destructionâ at one point. But it recently came to our attention that after being so vocal about her anti-Pak stand, she was spotted happily sporting a salwar-suit set by a Pakistani clothing brand named âBaroqueâ, with no qualms.

But are you telling me I am supposed to be âcoolâ with it, after being witness to the numerous times she has made her anti-Pakistan stand crystal clear for the world to see? Alright, letâs give her the benefit of the doubt here.
The poster girl of Indian nationalism wears Pakistani brands and also makes fiery comments on how Pakistan should be destroyed and boycotted.

I mean, by all means, itâs a free country, itâs her hard-earned money, her clothes, her choice and her life - oh and it's her sister's democracy too perhaps, but, where does all of that fit in the larger narrative of saying no to all things âPakistanâ that you swear by?

But again, it shouldnât come as a surprise because while perhaps you and I hate living in contradictions, Kangana has done that before too. Right from calling her âPakistanâs destructionâ comment an emotional outburst to not pulling down her own movie Manikarnika from Pakistani theatres, we have seen her make many a concessions for anti-nationalism every now and then.
So perhaps that explains why it is okay for her to sport a Pakistani clothing brand even this time, right? Or am I wrong to question this hypocrisy thatâs giving me a bad itch RN?
Let me know what you think, but donât @ me. #RantOver #PeaceOut
