Breaking all previous records, Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun turned out to be a huge success and it has already been a trend to remake popular movies down South. It all started with Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singhâs blockbuster success, which was the official adaptation of Vijay Deverakondaâs Telugu film Arjun Reddy. Now, we have Kartik Aaryan stepping into the shoes of Allu Arjun. 

  

Stating the reason behind roping in Kartik, a source told an entertainment website, âAllu Arjun and S Radha Krishna are now teaming up one more time to produce Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in Hindi. The script is in place and they have even got a director on board to helm the project. Rohit Dhawan, who earlier directed Desi Boyz and Dishoom will be captaining this one. The makers wanted to make it with a young Gen-Y star who has a good audience base.â

Kartik has also been narrated the script and he apparently loved it and has given a nod to the movie. The team is currently figuring out his dates and will lock the schedule once everything is back to normal. Well, Kartik has a great fan following and fans do love his acting kills but people arenât sure if he can actually match up to Allu Arjunâs swag in the original movie.

@TheAaryanKartik can never ever match the swag level of @alluarjun .
Can't imagine him in the hindi remake of #AlaVaikunthapurramuloo I think only one person can have that kind of screen presence that is @alluarjun himself. So plzz #Bollywood don't ruin such a beautiful film

Clearly, people arenât in favour of Kartik Aaryan taking up the role or even remaking the popular film for that matter.  From remaking original songs to movies, I, sometimes, feel the trend should disappear for a bit. On movie becoming a hit, Allu Arjun had earlier said, âThe producers announced that Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is an industry hit. This isn't my victory, but a token of appreciation from the Telugu audience. If a film sets a new record, it doesn't mean the hero is a rank above, but the audience has shown their love towards the respective film, as a whole. I am overwhelmed with the response to the film and I couldn't have asked for more.â

The movie has a separate fan base and people in North India have also loved it for the refreshing content. The film tells the story of a young man, who is raised in a typical middle-class household and learns that he is the sole heir of an affluent family.
