Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has finally broken her silence after days of getting catcalled online. It has been a month since Sushant’s demise and his fans, friends and family are still struggling to overcome the sadness and shock.

Rhea recently took to her Instagram account to expose the rape and murder threat she has recieved on the social media platform in the wake of Sushant Singh’s death.

In her post, she stated that she was silent after being tagged as a "gold digger" and "murderer" and came down heavily when she was told by a troll that she will be raped if she doesn’t commit suicide.

“I was called a gold digger ..I kept quiet, I was called a murderer ....I kept quiet, I was slut shamed ....I kept quiet, But how does my silence give you the right to tell me that you will get me RAPED and MURDERED if I don’t commit suicide @mannu_raaut ? Do you realize the seriousness of what you have said? These are crimes, and by law no one, I repeat NO ONE should be subjected to this kind of toxicity and harassment,” Rhea Chakraborty had posted on her Instagram account.

Besides, Rhea also tagged cyber crime helpline seeking help and wrote, “Also I request @cyber_crime_helpline @cybercrimeindia to please take necessary action . ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.”

Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 and Rhea was among the 30 people who recorded their statements regarding Sushant's death. In her statement, she revealed that he had ended his contract with YRF and wanted her to do the same.
