For a team that won its record fourth title last season, Mumbai Indians (MI) looked a bit rusty in their title defence as they lost the opening match to arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK)in IPL 2020. But, after an early wake-up call, Mumbai have done fairly well to turn their campaign around in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Ever since their narrow 'Super Over' loss against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), the Rohit Sharma-led brigade has been on a roll, extending their winning run to three games following their 57-run triumph over Rajasthan Royals (RR). While a Suryakumar Yadav (79*) special powered them to 193 runs, Jasprit Bumrah's spell of 4-20 skittled Rajasthan out for a mere 136 runs.
