Bangladesh Cricketer Sanjida Islam Wins Over Fans With Her Unique Wedding Photoshoot


Whether it's a man or woman, their wedding day is arguably one of the most important days in their life. The Bangladesh women's cricketer recently tied the nuptial knot with Mim Mosaddeak, who plays first-class cricket for Rangpur. 

While there is nothing new about cricketers finding their soulmates in the same profession, Mitchell Starc and Alyssa Healy being a prime example, the 24-year-old Bangladeshi cricketer stumped everyone with her unique wedding photoshoot.

Dressed in traditional attire and sporting pretty ornaments, Sanjida got her wedding photoshoot done on a cricket field where she was snapped playing her favourite game. The International Cricket Council (ICC) took note of her uncanny photoshoot and shared it on social media.

Making her international debut in 2012, Sanjida has represented Bangladesh in 70 matches. A top-order batswoman blessed with natural timing, the right-hander has scored 174 runs in 16 One-Day International (ODI) games. 

When it comes to Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), the Bangladeshi cricketer has 520 runs to her name in 54 matches. She last featured for Bangladesh in a T20I against Sri Lanka on 2nd March.
