Paul Pogba 'Quits Playing For France' After President Emmanuel Macron's Comments On Islam


Paul Pogba had set the hearts of football fans racing after joining Manchester United for a then-record fee of over 100 million Euros in 2016. But, the former Juventus star rarely showed the glimpse of the match-winner United had paid for. 

In the last four years, Pogba has not only struggled to deliver the goods but has also failed to make the cut for the playing XI.

The French international remains a vital cog in Didier Deschamps' set-up, aiding them in the midfield. Even if his United career was a bit off-colour, Pogba had things going on for him at the French national camp. But, not anymore.

The star footballer has reportedly quit playing for France after controversial comments from French president Emmanuel Macron on Islam.
