For all those who were waiting to see them together, Tara Sutaria will play the female lead in Heropanti 2 and the actress is excited to reunite with Tiger Shroff for the project.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Tara Sutaria wrote, “So amped for this one.. A new journey begins with my #NGEFamily #Heropanti2.” The message shared by Tara reads, “Reunited with my favourites! Thank you Sajid Sir for believing in me. Heropanti 2, here we go! PS: Can’t think of a better way to kick start birthday month.”

A spokesperson from the production house exclusively shared with Times Of India, “Sajid Sir saw the rushes of Tara’s scenes in the Ahan Shetty debut film and was really moved by her brilliant performance. She is a great actress, and would be a perfect match for the role in 'Heropanti 2' opposite Tiger Shroff.”

The first look posters of Heropanti 2 were unveiled in February this year. The posters were compared to the poster of Keanu Reeves's John Wick Chapter 3.

Heropanti 2 will be directed by Ahmed Khan, who has also helmed Baaghi 3. Tiger and Kriti Sanon made their Bollywood debuts with Heropanti. The film got mixed reviews from the critics but was a box office success.
