New Leaked Image Of OnePlus 5 Shows That It Doesnandamprsquot Have A Headphone Jack And Follows iPhoneandamprsquos Lead

The OnePlus 5 is expected to launch anytime this summer and there have been a few rumours surrounding the flagship killer. Recent leaks suggest that the OnePlus 5 has a dual rear camera setup and the same prototype of the image shows that OnePlus may have also ditched the headphone jack. The image was leaked on China’s Weibo and it clearly shows the missing 3.5mm headphone jack.

We previously covered a leak where the dual camera setup was clearly shown however this new leak has a very different story to tell. This leak shows that there are no antenna lines and the flash is now located below the lens. The prototype also has a dual speaker setup on the bottom of the smartphone instead of the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

We can see that smartphones like HTC U11 and Xiaomi’s Mi 6 have both ditched the headphone jack in favour to make more room for components and it seems like OnePlus is also flirting with the idea.

Other expected specifications of the OnePlus 5 are, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB or 8GB RAM or both, three storage options i.e. 64GB, 128GB and 256GB, 3600 mAh battery and Dash charge.
